Jalapeños – Finally Growing Strong!

After a few attempts over the years, I’ve finally had my first success growing jalapeños — and I couldn’t be more stoked!
The plants are looking lush, healthy, and the chillis are just starting to size up beautifully — almost ready to harvest!
It’s been so satisfying watching them go from tiny buds to shiny, deep green pods
About Jalapeños:
Mild–medium heat: around 2,500–8,000 SHU
Maturity: ~70–85 days from transplant
Flavour: Earthy, crisp, and just the right amount of kick
Perfect for stuffing, slicing, pickling, or tossing on everything
Why I’m excited:
It’s my first successful jalapeño grow
The plants are looking awesome
There's something so satisfying about growing a chilli you actually use all the time
Can’t wait to start picking them fresh and trying out all the recipes I’ve been saving up — jalapeño poppers, here we come!
Who else is growing jalapeños this season?
