Bulgarian Carrot Chilli

Bulgarian Carrot Chilli

Bulgarian Carrot Chillis – Spicy, Crunchy, and Bright as Sunshine!
One of the most fun chillis in my garden this season — the Bulgarian Carrot!
These little rockets are spicy, crunchy, and look exactly like mini carrots… but don’t let the look fool you

 Quick chilli facts:
  •  Scoville Heat Units: Around 15,000–30,000 SHU — decent kick with a clean burn
  •  Flavour: Bright, slightly fruity with a nice sharp heat — not just all burn!
  •  Size/Shape: About 5–8cm long, smooth, firm and shaped just like… well, a carrot!
  •  Colour: Glows a bold orange when fully ripe — absolute stunners in the garden
These guys are super productive, tough in cooler temps, and seriously fun to grow. They’ve quickly become one of my favourite “conversation starter” chillis in the patch

How I use them:
  •  Slice them fresh into stir-fries for instant heat + colour
  •  Make a spicy pickled chilli jar — they hold their crunch beautifully!
  •  Add to homemade hot sauce for a zesty, fruity punch
Honestly, if you want a chilli that brings the heat, colour, and character, Bulgarian Carrot delivers in spades
